#MKY Friend-Submitted: This is what the official photo looked like. I was zocheh to be there to witness this as my wife donated a kidney just after Pesach. Every person in this room has donated a kidney. There have been 2000 (actually it is already 2030) live kidney donations in Israel which is the largest per capita in the whole world. Not every donor could make it, and three donors were killed fighting in the war over the last 2 years (they were exempt from a call up bc of their kidney donation but they wanted to do their part!!!)
Matnat Chaim, the organization that enables all of this, is run by shomrei Torah umitzvos, and it is like one large, ever-growing family.
