Today is the yahrzeit of an architect of modern day kiruv, a man whose creativity, generosity and political acumen shaped shtadlanus, Reb Zev Wolfson a’h, pictured with his mentor and guide, Rav Ahron Kotler, and R Menachem Porush and Mr. Stephen Klein

Rav Zelig Braverman, son-in-law of Rav Chaim Kanievsky zt”l and a distinguished rosh yeshiva, spoke in the main beis medrash of Yeshiva Darchei Torah and patiently answered the many questions from bochurim – and then he noticed the marei mekomos for the shiur of the Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Altusky, and he became the talmid, eager to see!
The children of Darchei Torah are singing an ode to the Torah- while in the corner, Rav Moshe Bender is living it!

Last week, a Far Rockaway resident named Reb Dovid Scheiner passed away, an early founder of Darchei Torah and the father of the Roshei Yeshiva of Mesivta Shaarei Chaim.
