In Woodbourne, New York, hundreds of talmidim wishing they were back in Rav Asher Arielli’s shiur room gather around a speaker to hear the familiar voice, making things clear from across the world

They so look forward to the Bayit Lepleitot Shabbos, but this week, most of the orphaned girls from across the country will remain at home: so from headquarters in Meah Shearim, packages are making their way to them

Just across from Yeshiva Aderes HaTorah, led by Rav Chaim Tzvi Senter, the hotels are filled with residents of the south, displaced from their homes. They have a roof over their head, but what about 'regular life'? How are they meant to do laundry, for example? In the yeshiva's basement, a laundromat has sprung up- its free, and there are volunteers there to help - upstairs, the sound of learning Torah, and downstairs, the product, what people who learn Torah do!
